Finding the right solution to ensure the future of old buildings can be equally as satisfying as designing new buildings.

Each building is unique and requires a carefully considered solution.

After completing a post-graduate degree in Landscape Interpretation at the Centre for Manx Studies, Ashley Pettit was selected by Bournemouth University to work with them on Peel Castle. We later worked under direct supervision of Professor John Ashurst at Rushen Abbey and we now work directly for Manx National Heritage.

We have also worked as conservation consultants on Department of Local Government and the Environment funded projects, including the refurbishment of the tower at King William’s College.

Ashley Pettit is an elected member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and is the Island’s representitive on the North West Committee.
